Post Hole Drilling

We drill post holes with a hydraulic auger, in diameters up to 36 inches. It is the same family of equipment as our screw piling work, so it comes out on the same trucks and often on the same visit.
Sizes
Augers up to 36 inches across. Tell us the diameter and how many holes you need and we will tell you what it takes — a run of fence holes and a single large-diameter hole are different jobs.
Why drill rather than dig
An augered hole comes out round, straight-sided and the same width all the way down, which is what you want if something is going to be set or poured in it. On the clay around here, digging a hole of any size by hand is slow work and rarely comes out plumb.
